You should apply if:
- You are an EDO or CBO. Through this program, Economic Development and Community-Based Organizations will join forces to co-design impactful projects that contribute to building inclusive economies.
- You have a passion for learning. Access remote webinars to enhance your partnership building skills and understanding of inclusive economic development.
- You are interested in partnering with CBOs/EDOs. Completing the training courses makes you eligible for Phase Two: Partnership Development Assistance, which covers areas such as asset mapping, building trust, engaging BIPOC residents, and connecting to other sources of capital.
- You desire to create a more equitable future for your community. Learn how to map the economic development ecosystem, mobilize partnerships on the ground, evaluate the impact of partnerships and more.

About Equity Impact Investments
The Economic Development Administration (EDA) recognizes the need for more resources to improve technical assistance and capacity building in underserved populations and communities’ representation in local economic development.
The EDA Networks program announced the award of a $5.5 million grant to New Growth Innovation Network (NGIN) to design and launch a new initiative, Equity Impact Investments.
Equity Impact Investments will deliver a transformative, three-year, capacity-building program to 120 organizations operating at the forefront of equitable development in the United States. Funded through the Coronavirus Aid, Relief, and Economic Security (CARES) Act, this initiative is a part of EDA’s commitment to ensuring the consistent and systemic, fair, just, and impartial treatment of all individuals, including individuals who belong to underserved communities.
